Barrelhouse 6 Distillery opened to the public in Hammondsport New York in May of 2021. It is one of the premier start-up craft distilleries in the U.S., located in the beautiful Finger Lakes “Wine Country” Region of New York.

For the second year in a row, Barrelhouse 6 Distillery has come home with awards from the 2022 American Distilling Institute International Judging of Craft Spirits Awards. Barrelhouse 6 Distillery has been awarded an impressive three bronze medals for the year.
Barrelhouse 6 Distillery has been included in the top 100 list of spirits to have behind your bar for 2022! Judged by top bartenders and industry buyers, Brothers’ 1910 Empire Rye Casked Finished Straight Rye Whiskey achieved 91 points from the judging panel, earning a gold medal finish.
At the 2022 Bartender Spirits Awards, Barrelhouse 6 Distillery came home with a long list of accolades. Medals were awarded to those spirits that meet very specific judging criteria, with a goal of identifying spirits that should become additions to restaurant and bar menus.
Barrelhouse 6 Distillery entered into the 2022 North American Whiskey Manhattan Cocktail Competition for the first time and came home with wonderful standings.
At the 2022 American Craft Spirits Awards, Barrelhouse 6 Distillery was award Five bronze medals for its products out of over 400 spirits. The judging panel was made up of a selected group of more than 30 experts judges and the competition took place at Hire Wire Distilling Co. in Charleston, South Carolina.
In Barrelhouse 6 Distillery’s very first entry into the competition arena, the 2021 American Distilling Institute Judging of Craft Spirits Awards, B6D has been awarded Best in Category (Corn Whiskey) Gold Medal, and Certified Craft for Middle Finger Moonshine, our 100% locally sourced double distilled Corn Whiskey, and Bronze Medal, and Certified Craft for Sisters’ 1924 London Dry Gin, our locally sourced 100% corn-based Gin.
