Sisters’ 1924 Barrel Rested Gin
A delicate floral and spice gin, followed by a unique palate of spicy vanilla, oak, and sweetness that finishes smooth and clean. This gin is a tasting room favorite for its mixability in a variety of traditional cocktails, or on the rocks with a simple orange garnish.
We use a steam extraction process rather than the boiling/maceration common to other gins, distilling in small batches using a vapor basket system to allow the authentic flavors of the botanicals to come through. We then rest the gin in our used spiced rum barrels for four months to impart vanilla, baking spice, and toasted wood notes to the finished product without overpowering the original gin botanicals.
Sisters’ 1924 Cherry Smash Gin
A juicy, fruit forward and citrus gin with a touch of vanilla and cinnamon that finishes smooth and lingers just a bit. This gin pairs beautifully in cocktails with citrus, aperitifs, bubbly wines, and mint.
We use a steam extraction process rather than the boiling/maceration common to other gins, distilling in small batches using a vapor basket system to allow the authentic flavors to come through. The addition of strawberries and elderberries to the vapor basket during distillation is followed by adding local dark sweet cherries and local Montmorency cherry extracts to the gin batch.
