The judging panel was made up of a selected group of more than 30 experts judges and the competition took place at Hire Wire Distilling Co. in Charleston, South Carolina. B6d received bronze medals for our Sister’ 1924 London Dry Gin, Brothers’ 1910 Bourbon Finished in Sherry Casks, Brothers’ 1910 Bourbon Cream Liqueur, Brothers’ 1910 Peppermint Cream Liqueur, and Brothers’ 1910 Empire Rye Cask Finished. Entries were submitted from 37 states and Washington, D.C. and we are honored to be recognized for not one but five of our spirits.
The American Crafts Spirits Awards is put on by the American Craft Spirits Association. The American Craft Spirits Association is the only registered national nonprofit trade group represents the U.S. craft spirits industry. Its main mission is to elevate and advocate for the community of craft spirits producers. We are Barrelhouse 6 Distillery Barrelhouse 6 Distillery opened to the public in Hammondsport New York in May of 2021. It is one of the premier start-up craft distilleries in the U.S., located in the beautiful Finger Lakes “Wine Country” Region of New York. With a 108-foot deck overlooking stunning Keuka Lake, “Lady of the American Lakes”, it is home to a 2400 square foot tasting room, the largest of its kind 500-gallon HBS Copper (commercial division of Hillbilly Stills) “Kentucky Diamond” hybrid still, and coming 2022, a 40x80 event tent.
