Judged by top bartenders and industry buyers, Brothers’ 1910 Empire Rye Casked Finished Straight Rye Whiskey achieved 91 points from the judging panel, earning a gold medal finish. It has a golden amber color with an aroma of saddle soap and leather, hemp and pumpkin oil, brown-buttered biscuits, and haystack. The Bartender Spirits Awards Top 100 list consist of the best On-Premise spirits in the United States. Brands are judged by top Bartenders and On-Premise spirits buyers based on mixability, balance, versatility, taste, mouthfeel, finish, package, and price. The main goal with this award is to celebrate and recognize the great beverages in the U.S. drink Industry.
The Beverage Testing Institute was founded in 1981 and has become the most comprehensive and reliable source for alcohol beverage product tasting and professional reviews in the world. From what started as the first international wine competition in the United States, has turned into trustworthy review of the world’s best beer, spirits, cider, sake, mead, and more. In addition to providing recognition to the best beverages of the year, the Beverage Testing Institute aims help to develop and improve the industry as a whole. We are Barrelhouse 6 Distillery Barrelhouse 6 Distillery opened to the public in Hammondsport New York in May of 2021. It is one of the premier start-up craft distilleries in the U.S., located in the beautiful Finger Lakes “Wine Country” Region of New York.
